The Small Private Forest Support Unit is a department within the Walloon Economic Office for Wood, a public body established by the Wallonia regional government to stimulate the development of the wood sector. The Support Unit helps owners of small forestry plots (less than 5 ha) to gain a better understanding of their land and how to make the most of it, by providing services on both an individual basis (diagnostic visits, mapping, etc.) and a collective one (wood sales and grouped reforestation work).
